On a notable evening of January 16th, 2024, the Guild of Freemen Lodge was abuzz with the spirit of tradition and camaraderie. Members of the lodge convened in the sacred space of the Temple to partake in a significant Raising Ceremony, a cornerstone event that highlights the essence of our longstanding rituals and bonds.

The ceremony was particularly momentous as we witnessed the raising of Brother Mark Rutter by our newly appointed Worshipful Master, Jack Matthews, SLGR. Brother Rutter’s unwavering patience and steadfast dedication were celebrated, setting a vibrant and auspicious tone for the year ahead.

Adding to the evening’s significance, the Guild of Freemen Lodge was honored to welcome a distinguished new member, W Bro Clive Dellow. His recent relocation to London and decision to join our ranks signifies not only personal commitment but also the growing allure and robust vitality of our Lodge in the heart of the city.

The sense of fellowship and achievement culminated as we transitioned from our formal proceedings to a convivial gathering at the Freemasons Arms. Here, amidst the warmth of good company, we celebrated our collective accomplishments and the bonds that unite us.

Looking forward, the Lodge is filled with anticipation for the next significant date on our calendar, April 23rd, 2024. This meeting promises to be another landmark occasion where we will celebrate the passing of two initiates, Brothers Craig Brummel and Hayden Ralph. Their progression marks not only their personal growth within the Masonic journey but also the continuous evolution of our Lodge.
