On 22 April, Guild of Freemen Lodge No. 3525 welcomed members, friends, and family for a memorable afternoon and evening—the Lodge’s first White Table event since the COVID-19 pandemic.
White Table evenings offer a rare opportunity for non-Masons to experience the social side of Freemasonry and to share in its sense of community. This occasion did just that, bringing together guests and members in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
The afternoon began at 4:15 pm with the formal opening of the lodge by Worshipful Master Norman Chapman. After a brief meeting to handle essential lodge matters, members invited their guests into the Temple. There, Worshipful Brother Colin Burnett, MBE, gave a well-received talk introducing the history, values, and symbols of Freemasonry, including the meaning behind its distinctive regalia.

After the talk, the group moved to the Freemasons’ Hall Bar for refreshments and conversation, with guests and members mingling in a friendly and informal atmosphere. The evening continued with a lively Festive Board held in the Old Board Room, where good food and great company made for a warm and enjoyable conclusion to the day.

The Guild of Freemen Lodge, based in the heart of London, continues to thrive as a community built on fellowship and tradition. With our next event scheduled for 23 September 2025, we look forward to welcoming both familiar faces and newcomers.
