On the 7th of November, 2023, we gathered in the Temple for an Installation Meeting. In a ceremony rich with tradition, Jack Matthews, SLGR, ascended to the role of Worshipful Master, graciously passed on by our preceding Worshipful Master, Steve Ashby, PPrJGD. This gathering was made even more special as we welcomed three distinguished new members: James Wooley, LGR, James Owens, PPrGSwd, and Vince Baughan. Vince, recently installed as Worshipful Master in Somerset, now makes the journey to attend our meetings, a testament to the allure and prestige of our Lodge.

Our Lodge, with its deep connections to London, continues to attract interest and grow robustly, as evidenced by our latest members and another hopeful applicant set to join us. This applicant, whom we eagerly anticipate welcoming, is expected to be with us for our next gathering on January 16th, 2024, marking a vibrant start to the new year.

After concluding our Installation meeting at 7:00 PM, we moved to the local DoubleTree hotel for a festive board, celebrating our fellowship and the evening’s achievements. It’s with great pleasure that we announced another significant event for our next meeting on January 16th, 2024: the third degree for Brother Mark Rutter, whose patience and dedication will be duly honored.
