On 23 September at 4:00 PM, under the guidance of the Director of Ceremonies, the brethren of Guild of Freemen Lodge No. 3525 gathered for a significant meeting—the final meeting led by our Worshipful Master, Norman Chapman.

W. Bro Chapman was recently awarded London Grand Rank in recognition of his commitment and service. We congratulate him on this well-earned honour and thank him for his leadership.

A Moment of Reflection and Remembrance
The Lodge opened with a tribute to W. Bro Steve Ashby, PPrGSwdB (PZ), who passed away on 13 August 2025 during the summer recess. His dedication and friendship will be deeply missed.

Celebrating Progress and Growth
The atmosphere lifted as the Lodge celebrated the Passing of Brother Kishan Parshotam—a key step towards becoming a Master Mason. We were proud to support him on this important stage of his Masonic journey.

We were also pleased to welcome a new joining member, W. Bro John Leggett, PSGD, PAsstProvGM. His experience will be a valuable addition to the Lodge.

Looking Ahead: A New Chapter Begins
Our next meeting on 4 November will mark the start of the new Masonic year. It will include the Installation of the Master Elect, W. Bro David Stringer, and the Lodge’s move to its new home at Wax Chandlers’ Hall—an exciting new chapter in our history.
