On a crisp November afternoon, the Guild of Freemen Lodge No. 3525 came together for a momentous occasion. At precisely 4:00 PM, the Temple was abuzz with anticipation as brethren and esteemed visitors gathered to witness the installation of Worshipful Brother Norman Chapman as the new Worshipful Master.

This significant event marked the end of a distinguished year of leadership by Worshipful Master Jack Matthews SLGR, who gracefully passed on the gavel. The occasion was further enriched by the warm welcome extended to Worshipful Brother Lloyd Seymour Harrison, ProvSGW, who joined the Lodge as a new member. Fully immersing himself in the Lodge’s traditions, he played an active role in the installation ceremony, adding to the day’s excitement.
As the clock struck 7:00 PM, the installation meeting drew to a close, but the celebration was far from over. Members and guests adjourned to the Old Board Room at Freemasons’ Hall for the festive board. Here, laughter and camaraderie filled the air as everyone savored a memorable evening of fellowship, delicious dining, and heartfelt toasts.
“Leadership is the opportunity to serve. It is not a trumpet-call to self-importance.” – J. Donald Walters
These profound words perfectly reflect the spirit of Worshipful Brother Norman Chapman. During the evening, he shared his inspiring vision for the Lodge’s future, emphasizing growth, unity, and support for all brethren in the year ahead.
