Lodge news – We had are delighted to initiate Mr Mark Rutter on the 27th September 2022, who first applied to Join in March 2022. He was proposed By W Bro Richard Miller who has been one of our members since 2011 and has known him for 10 years and was seconded by his Father W Bro Leslie Miller. Richard was delighted to be able to take the chair and carry out the Initiation ceremony which was supported by W Bro Keith Gregory, Bro David Stringer and W Bro Steve Ashby.

Mark originally reached out to us because of his interest in City Institutions and their history. As a member of the Guild of Freemen he thought it would be perfect to join the Lodge also connected to the Freemen of the City. Mark is a retired IT Consultant who worked on a number of Government contracts and is still interested in computers. Mark is a trustee on a charity which helps people living with Dementia and volunteers a few days each week serving tea and coffee at a Dementia Cafe.

We were also fortunate enough to also have our Visiting Officer, W Bro Oliver Bullman attending who also joined us for a lovely meal at the Freemans Arms after.

Next meeting 1st November 2022 We are delighted to be able to Install our new Master W Bro Steve Ashby, a very experienced mason who was first Initiated into Earlham Lodge 7266 back in November 1995 and has since been a Master of several other Lodges.
